Andrew T. Sullivan

BIOGRAPHY

Andrew Sullivan is a tax and business attorney who represents clients in the negotiation and implementation of a wide range of individual and commercial business transactions. Andrew focuses his practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions, taxation, general corporate and business governance, and estate planning and successions.

Andrew has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and divestiture transactions and deep knowledge of the tax, accounting, economic and regulatory issues associated therewith. Andrew has represented clients across a broad range of industries, including oil and gas, agriculture, food and beverage, manufacturing and telecommunications sectors.

Andrew is a board-certified tax law specialist, as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. He has been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers and New Orleans Magazine for his work in tax law, and by Best Lawyers in America for his work in business organizations (including LLCs and partnerships), corporate law, tax law, and trusts and estates.

Andrew obtained his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. Prior to attending NYU, Andrew received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Louisiana Tech University and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Loyola Law Review.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and is a fan of live music and football.
